Hello, we are Bunny and John Switzenberg, beekeepers and crafters, and we make wonderful hand-crafted cinnamon-scented beeswax ornaments. Many of the molds we use are genuine antique German chocolate molds. Some of these molds have been in the family for over 125 years when John’s great grandfather brought them with him when he emigrated from Germany in 1884!
During the forty-three years the we have been married, we have expanded that original mold collection into one of the largest antique mold collections in the country. We travel around the eastern United States going to approximately 35 craft shows each year. From early December till May, we are in Florida doing shows
This year, as many of you know, there has been a definite problem with honey bees. It is called Colony Collapse Disorder. Many beekeepers are losing a large portion or even all of their bees. Beekeepers have lost 36.1% of the hives in this country already this year. Beeswax is becoming more scarce and we don’t know how long we will be able to have this web site
